Ken Carr, our independent director, has more than 25 years’ experience on public company boards, as CEO, Non-Executive Director and Chairman, and as head of Audit and Risk and various other committees. Ken has listed two companies on the ASX and AIM, and has experience as a director of US, Canadian, UK, and Indian enterprises. Ken holds a Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration, and a Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Ken has been CEO of five Australian ASX-listed businesses, providing strong growth and involvement in multiple acquisitions and divestments — including Keycorp Limited (smart card and banking technologies), Rubik Financial Limited (banking and wealth IT systems, share price grew 710% during his two years there), LongReach Group Limited, Inteq Limited, and PJL Group (mining), which he grew to a ~$100m-revenue mining services business under his leadership.

Ken has chaired five boards and served as head of Audit and Risk (including Cyber Security and Anti-Money Laundering) and Compensation committees. Previously, Ken served in the RAF and worked with the air forces of Oman, Saudi Arabia and the UAE as a weapons instructor.
